Our Story
Every Child Deserves a Chance to Learn
For a family struggling to meet everyday needs, a child's education can be difficult to afford. Yet every child has the curiosity to learn, the ability to grow and dreams worth supporting.
SOUL Gurukul in Village Pooth, District Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, works to give children that opportunity. Since SOUL adopted the village in 2021, we have been providing free education and a daily mid-day meal to tribal children. Here, children find a caring place to study, ask questions, make friends and discover what they can do.
Our learning goes beyond books. Along with reading, writing and classroom lessons, we encourage creativity, practical skills, good habits and care for nature. We want every child to grow in confidence and feel prepared for everyday life.
We also work with their mothers through SOUL's women's empowerment initiative, because supporting a child means supporting the family around them.
